Balsam Self Storage is a locally owned, drive-up storage facility located at 45498 Scenic Hwy in Bovey, Minnesota — right in the heart of Itasca County. We serve residents and businesses in Bovey, Grand Rapids, Coleraine, Marble, Nashwauk, and the surrounding communities of northern Minnesota.
We built this facility to give people in the Grand Rapids area a straightforward, affordable place to store what matters. No corporate runaround — just clean units, 24/7 access, and simple month-to-month leases.

Our units are traditional drive-up self storage — unheated and built for practical, everyday use. That makes them ideal for furniture, tools, recreational equipment, ATVs, appliances, and most household goods that don't require climate control. Pull up to your door, load or unload, and go. No elevator, no interior hallways.

We are located at 45498 Scenic Hwy, Bovey, MN 55709, approximately 10 minutes southwest of Grand Rapids on US-169. The facility is easy to reach from Grand Rapids, Coleraine, Marble, and other Itasca County communities. Our entrance is directly off Scenic Hwy with wide drive aisles designed for easy truck and trailer access.
